Safety and Security
At The PSBB Learning Leadership Academy, the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and community are of paramount importance. We are committed to maintaining a secure, supportive environment where students can learn, grow, and thrive without fear or disruption. Our safety protocols are regularly reviewed and updated in alignment with best practices, CBSE guidelines, and local regulations.
Campus Security Measures
- Secure Entry and Exit: The school premises are gated and monitored. All entry and exit points are manned by trained security personnel during school hours.
- ID Verification: All staff, students, and authorized visitors must wear visible ID cards. Visitors are required to sign in and are issued visitor passes.
- CCTV Surveillance: High-definition CCTV cameras are installed at key locations across the campus, including entrances, hallways, and common areas. Surveillance is monitored regularly to ensure safety compliance.

Student Safety Protocols
- Safe Dispersal System: A structured dispersal plan ensures that students leave the school premises in a safe and orderly manner. Only authorized guardians are permitted to pick up students, verified through parent-issued ID or prior written consent.
- Transport Safety: All school transport vehicles comply with safety norms, are GPS-tracked, and are operated by verified drivers and female attendants. Vehicles are regularly inspected for mechanical fitness.
- Emergency Drills: Regular fire, earthquake, and lockdown drills are conducted to prepare staff and students for potential emergencies.
Child Protection and Well-being
- POSCO Compliance: All staff members are sensitized and trained on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Regular workshops promote awareness and vigilance.
- Counseling and Support: The school offers access to trained counselors to support the emotional and psychological well-being of students. Confidentiality and sensitivity are maintained at all times.
- Anti-Bullying Policy: We have a strict zero-tolerance policy against bullying, harassment, or any form of discriminatory behavior. Students and parents are encouraged to report any incidents immediately.

Health and Medical Support
- On-site Nurse and First Aid: A qualified nurse is available during school hours to address minor injuries and health concerns. First aid kits are placed strategically across the campus.
- Emergency Medical Response: In the event of a serious injury or illness, parents are immediately contacted and, if necessary, the child is taken to the nearest partnered hospital with staff accompaniment.

Digital and Cyber Safety
- Monitored Internet Use: Students have supervised access to the internet during school hours. Firewalls and filters are in place to restrict access to inappropriate content.
- Digital Citizenship Education: Regular sessions are conducted to educate students on responsible online behavior, data privacy, and cyberbullying prevention.
Community Responsibility
Safety is a shared responsibility. We encourage parents, staff, and students to remain alert and proactive. Any suspicious activity, safety concern, or suggestion can be reported to the Safety Officer or School Principal immediately.
