PSBB

Overview

The PSBB Millennium School, Gerugambakkam originated from a historic collaboration between Learning Leadership Foundation and the Bala Bhavan Education Trust that governs the legendary PSBB Schools founded by the eminent visionary Dr Mrs. Y G Parthasarathy, Padma Shri Awardee.  Today the School stands as an epitome of what schools can be, driven by a simple vision of seeing India compete fiercely on the global  stage while rooted in Indian  traditions  and time tested values of compassion and humility.

Our school is led by a strong  belief that Parents and Teachers are equal facilitators who can contribute towards all-round development of the students and nurture them to grow to their full potential. With the focus on student-centric, interactive and Activity Based Learning methodology, learning at The PSBB Millennium School, Gerugambakkam is fun, for it fosters love of learning and deepens study skills.

Learning is made fun at the PreKG, LKG and UKG levels. Tiny tots are engaged in creative activities that spark their curious minds which in turn instills a thirst for learning.

Our classrooms are a colourful, vibrant and safe place where art, music, storytelling play a lead role to learning at a holistic level.

The PSBB Millennium School, Gerugambakkam has been designated as Lead Collaborator School. We are mentoring CBSE affiliated schools by hand-holding them in the areas of Academic collaboration, Resource sharing, Promoting academic enrichment through teacher exchange program, sharing expertise and Curriculum planning.

The school is ISO 9001:2015 Certified. This validates that the processes and the systems match the standards set.

The PSBB Millennium School, Gerugambakkam, a co-educational institution, follows English as the medium of instruction, under CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION (CBSE).

The classes are from Pre Primary to class XII.

We have always adopted innovative practices of the West and updated our educational theory and practice. At the same time our schools teach yoga, music, slokhas, dance, vedic heritage, art and so on to respect our culture.

As the mentor of these institutions I strongly believe in sharing my pedagogic expertise. The concept of AIR – Accountability, Integrity and Responsibility should permeate in every PSBB Millennials.

I am glad that the school alumni are faring well cherishing Indian values and measuring up to the levels of the best professionals.
Don’t tell me the sky’s the limit when there are foot prints on the moon” – Paul Brandt.

I strongly believe in these words and insist that apart from narrating tales pointing at the moon, We educators must inspire our students to leave footprints on the moon

Good things never end – they go on!
Blessings and Best Wishes!
